Eldritch Eclipse: The Hidden Battle
A downloadable game
The year is 1947. The world is recovering from the devastation of World War II, but the scars run deep. Amidst the ruins of bombed cities and the uneasy peace, a new terror has emerged. The Nazis, in their relentless pursuit of power, have succeeded in summoning lesser Eldritch horrors from beyond our reality. These ancient entities, with their incomprehensible motives and twisted forms, now roam the earth, sowing chaos and fear.
In this post-war landscape, humanity is not alone in its struggle. The Lupus Humanis Maioribus—a race of werewolves who age seven times slower than humans—have emerged from the shadows. These ancient guardians, who have lived among humans for centuries, now reveal themselves as protectors against the eldritch menace. Their longevity grants them wisdom and experience, making them formidable allies in the fight against cosmic horrors.
Magic, once thought to be mere legend, has resurfaced. Shamans wield ancient spells, small magical items circulate among those who dare to use them, and legendary fae—creatures of myth like redcaps, wendigo, harpies, and trolls—stand as humanity's protectors. These beings, with their unique abilities and ancient knowledge, are scattered around the globe, each playing a crucial role in the battle against the darkness.
In the bustling cities and quiet towns of post-war America, the lines between reality and myth blur. The streets of New York City harbor hidden covens of witches, while the forests of the Pacific Northwest hide enclaves of fae. Secret societies and government agencies hunt for magical artifacts and eldritch tomes, hoping to gain an advantage against the horrors. The world is a tapestry of the mundane and the mystical, where ordinary people must rise to extraordinary challenges.
